Description

• Conduct internal audits to assess the effectiveness of internal controls and risk management processes.
• Prepare detailed audit reports highlighting findings and recommending actionable improvements.
• Collaborate with various departments to ensure compliance with company policies and procedures.
• Assist in developing and implementing audit plans aligned with organisational objectives.
• Provide guidance on financial reporting, regulatory compliance, and process enhancements.
• Monitor and evaluate the implementation of audit recommendations across the organisation.
• Support senior management with ad hoc financial analysis and risk assessments.
• Stay updated on industry regulations and best practices to ensure ongoing compliance and efficiency.

Profile

A successful Internal Audit Manager should have:

• Relevant professional qualification such as CIIA, or qualified by experience gained through working in an IA function.
• Working in Internal Audit is an essential skill - No candidates from External Audit or similar with no practical IA experience
• Balanced record of strong finance controls experience and real experience of auditing non-financial auditing (With relevance to the IA priorities of Tech/Cyber, Manufacturing and ICFR environments.)
• Qualified Internal Auditor with a minimum of 1-2 years experience post qualification, or qualified by 5 years experience in an internal audit role.
• Experience of working in a matrix organisation a benefit - the role will require the individual to lead on audits, work as part of a team, or work jointly with the co-source provider.
