Location: Manufacturing Site - East Midlands

Reports to: Compliance Manager

Join the team to independently manage internal audits of the site’s Quality Management System (QMS). This role ensures compliance with industry, regulatory, and customer standards, while driving continuous improvement.

• Audit Management: Plan and conduct internal audits aligned with QMS, BRC, GMP, HACCP, and customer standards.
• Compliance & Gap Analysis: Identify gaps from new or updated standards and support teams in achieving compliance.
• Non-Conformance Oversight: Document and track audit findings, ensuring timely resolution and escalation when needed.
• Hygiene Inspections: Perform unannounced audits during off-hours to ensure consistent hygiene practices.
• Corrective Actions: Validate root cause analysis and effectiveness of corrective/preventive actions.
• Trend Analysis: Monitor audit trends and implement proactive improvements.
• Reporting: Deliver clear audit reports and communicate findings to stakeholders.
• Continuous Improvement: Collaborate with teams to enhance quality culture and audit readiness.
• External Audit Support: Assist in preparation for third-party and customer audits.
• Training: Provide coaching on audit processes and compliance best practices.

• Experience in food manufacturing audits.
• Strong knowledge of HACCP, BRC, GMP.
• Skilled in audit techniques and compliance verification.
• Proficient in reporting and stakeholder communication.
• Familiarity with QMS/audit software is a plus.
• Analytical, detail-oriented, and objective.
