Internal Auditor

This role as an Internal Auditor in the automotive industry will focus on assessing and improving the efficiency of internal controls within the across the organisation. Description

• Plan and execute internal audits to evaluate the effectiveness of controls and compliance with policies.
• Identify areas of risk and provide actionable recommendations for improvement.
• Prepare clear and concise audit reports for senior management and stakeholders.
• Collaborate with various departments to ensure adherence to financial regulations and standards.
• Monitor the implementation of audit recommendations to ensure improvements are achieved.
• Assist in the development and enhancement of internal audit methodologies and practices.
• Act as a point of contact for external auditors during audits or reviews.
• Stay updated on changes in regulations affecting the Retail industry and Accounting & Finance practices.

Profile

A successful Internal Auditor should have:

• A relevant degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• Professional qualifications such as ACA, ACCA, or CIMA.
• Experience in internal audit, ideally within the automotive or retail industry.
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles and financial regulations.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Proficiency with financial software and tools.
• DESIRABLE - Experience working on SOX controls
