Our client, a leader in automotive education, is looking for a passionate and skilled Lead Technical Trainer to join their team, delivering Apprenticeship Programme at their state-of-the-art facility in bedford, Bedfordshire. This permanent position offers a unique opportunity to shape the next generation of automotive technicians through innovative and effective learning programmes.
Key Responsibilities:
Deliver high-quality, engaging, and effective apprentice learning in accordance with manufacturer and apprenticeship standards Monitor and manage apprentice progression towards End Point Assessment Collaborate with trainers and team members to deliver curriculum courses and manufacturer-specific modules both face-to-face and virtually Utilise the latest technology and Trainer Accreditation methodology for training delivery Ensure the training meets the Apprentice Programme objectives and maintains quality and standardisation Promote a positive culture and embody brand values in all activities Ensure all training complies with Health and Safety standards, Safeguarding, and Prevent policies Act as an ambassador for our client's Apprenticeship Programme, demonstrating good practice and brand values
Job Requirements:
Qualified Technician at Level 3 (EHV certification desirable) Teaching qualification/experience (PTLLS, DTLLS, PGCE, TAP, Cert Ed or NVQ equivalent qualification desirable) Full driving licence Relevant Health & Safety qualification (desirable) Recent manufacturer workshop experience (desirable) Strong awareness of new technical innovations Proficiency with Microsoft software packages Excellent teamwork and a strong 'Customer First' ethic Passion for training and developing others
