Job Description
We are seeking a highly enthusiastic and confident communicator for a sales role. Your main responsibility will be to engage our clients and secure their contracts under Direct Sales. You should excel at communication and be adept at maintaining excellent customer relationships on behalf of the company.
As an effective Internal Business Development Executive, you will have superior people skills and be comfortable presenting products or services over the phone, handling complaints and addressing concerns.
The ideal candidate will have experience in all stages of the sales cycle, be skilled at building and maintaining client relationships, and possess strong negotiation abilities.
Responsibilities:
Reach out to existing clients to request account information needed to advance their claims.
Contact potential customers who have already had a scope call with our sales team to confirm they wish to sign their agreement, referred to as the ‘client pack’ for their R&D claim with ZLX.
Build and maintain successful partnerships with customers, focusing on the achieving long-term customer loyalty.
Consult the potential client on the services we offer.
Answer questions about products or the company.
Direct qualified prospects to the Direct Sales team.
Grow your network of contacts via social media, such as LinkedIn.
Enter and update customer information in our bespoke CRM system.
Go the extra mile to meet sales quotas and help facilitate future sales.
Build relationships with prospective clients.
Maintain consistent contact with existing clients.
Manage the sales pipeline.
Analyse market and establish competitive advantages.
Track metrics to ensure targets are met.
Required skills:
Proven experience as a sales representative in a highly competitive, customer focused role (B2B, B2C).
Demonstrated track record of successfully meeting sales quotas, preferably over the phone.
Good knowledge of relevant computer programs (e.g., CRM software) and telephone systems.
Ability to learn about products and services and effectively describe/explain them to prospects.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Confident proficiency in handling objections.
Outstanding negotiation skills with the ability to resolve issues and address complaints.
Experience working within a sales/target driven role.
Ability to demonstrate proactive sales via phone, face-to-face & online.
Experience working in a fast-paced role, whilst maintaining a keen eye for detail.
A flexible approach and the ability to work under pressure.
Qualifications:
3+ years of experience in the Sales industry
Proven experience in the full sales cycle, including deal closing
Demonstrated success in Sales.
Strong negotiation skills.
Excellent communication and presentation skills.
CRM experience is preferred
Remuneration;
Salary up to £32K DOE, plus bonus.
Hours of work; Monday - Thursday: 9.00am to 5.00pm, Friday: 9.00am to 2.00pm
You should be comfortable working in a fast-paced, results-driven environment, where getting it right first time is a prerequisite.
