Office location: Scunthorpe

Remuneration: £35,000 - £55,000neg + discretionary bonus

The role of the Internal Business Development Manager - GRP Products will involve:

  • Sales Manager role, selling a manufactured range of manufactured permanent GRP formwork products for bridges
  • Dealing with main contractors, subcontractors, architects and specifying consultants
  • Responsible for managing and developing sales strategies
  • Building, fostering and developing relationships with clients
  • Majority of the role will be chasing new business as no project is the same
  • Arranging CPDS for the Head of Sales
  • Liaising with Estimating, Production and Design teams to ensure deadlines are adhered and projects run smoothly
  • Occassionally will be required to attend client visits and CPDs (1-2 overnight stays per month)
  • Contributing to the UK sales target, roughly bringing in circa £3.5m per year

The ideal applicant will be an Internal Business Development Manager - GRP Products with:

  • Must have extensive outbound sales experience within the construction industry
  • Experience within the civils or structures market sector would be advantageous
  • Ideally will have experience selling into main contractors, architects and specifying consultants
  • Must be pro-active and have excellent organisational skills
  • Experience and proficiency with a CRM system essential
  • IT literate (Microsoft Office)
  • Excellent communication skills both written and verbal
  • Confident & professional telephone manor
  • Hungry and looking for a career
  • Stable career background, no job hoppers
