Our client, a globally leading manufacturing business based in Reading are looking to hire an Internal Communications Manager within the supply chain and central functions team.

Sitting within the Central Communications team, you will focus on providing communications expertise and delivery for Supply Chain and across various central functions. You will need previous experience of working with senior stakeholders and be a collaborative team player.

Responsibilities

Supply Chain

·Shape and deliver the internal communications plan for Supply Chain through advising, defining and executing internal communication and engagement plans.

·Crafting compelling narratives.

·Writing communications for the Chief Supply Chain Officer and Supply Chain Leadership team.

·Responsibility for executing campaigns and content that brings to life strategic narratives.

·Management of existing supply chain communication channels.

·Communications lead for strategic change and transformation programmes.

Central Functions

·Act as key communications business partner for central teams such as sustainability and HR.

·Collaborate closely with other communications team members to support delivery of a central calendar of cross-channel communications.

Previous skills/experiences

·Strong internal communication experience, ideally within a large, complex organisations.

·Excellent judgment and strong attention to detail, with an ability to use initiative to spot opportunities and advise stakeholders.

·Action-oriented team player who enjoys 'getting things done' whilst working with teams of all sizes across the entire organisation.

·Strong background in internal leadership communications.

Experience in the following would be ideal:

·Delivering communications in an operational environment, including to front-line audiences without access to tech.

·Must have experience of in a globally focused internal communications role.

·Health, Safety and Environment as well as Sustainability Communications (campaigns and operational).

·Video shooting and editing (on an iPhone is fine)

·Canva (video and graphic creation)
