SmartPro has a position available for an

Internal Quality Assurer

with our client based near to the Pontypridd area. The position is permanent / full time, with an immediate start date.
The successful applicant will report to the Lead

IQA

and will be responsible for the Internal Quality Assurance activities for all programme areas ensuring that Assessors/Tutors comply with the technical and vocational requirements as defined by the appropriate Awarding Bodies. To plan and provide operational support to assessors and trainers delivering set disciplines.

Hours of work: Monday to Thursday 9am – 5pm – Friday 9am – 1.30pm

Requirements of the

IQA :
Experience delivering NVQ/QCF and Technical Certificates. Current occupational competence to ensure an up-to-date working knowledge of the relevant frameworks.
Good communication skills, good initiative, confident, good listener, ability to plan, schedule and evaluate work for proficient performance, attention to detail and good auditing skills.
Must have a flexible approach with the ability to organise and prioritise workload are essential.
Own transport and hold a full clean driving licence.
TAQA Assessor Award, TAQA Verifier Award, PGCE/ET01/PTLLS,
