Job Description - Internal Recruiter

Role: Internal Recruiter

Salary Negotiable DOE

Office Based: Rotherham

MTL Advanced:

We are a leading engineering and manufacturing company, providing services to major OEMs across defence, security, construction, quarrying, recycling, and rail industries.

MTL Advanced has recently invested heavily in its future, with a £10 million Advanced Manufacturing Centre, new long-term contracts, and the creation of around 100 new jobs.

Due to company growth, we are looking to add an additional Recruiter to our growing internal recruitment team based in Rotherham.

Role & Responsibilities

You will be a proactive Internal Recruiter who excels at identifying, engaging, and attracting high-quality candidates through creative sourcing techniques, headhunting, networking, and market intelligence.

* Manage end-to-end recruitment across multiple functions and seniority levels.

* Develop and execute innovative sourcing strategies to identify passive and active candidates.

* Conduct targeted headhunting campaigns for hard-to-fill and specialist positions.

* Build and maintain talent pipelines for current and future hiring needs.

* Utilise LinkedIn, social media platforms, industry networks, professional associations, and niche talent communities to identify top talent.

* Perform market mapping and competitor analysis to uncover candidate pools and hiring trends.

* Partner closely with hiring managers to understand business needs and define recruitment strategies.

* Screen, interview, and assess candidates against role requirements and cultural fit.

* Strengthen employer branding initiatives to attract high-calibre candidates.

* Develop new candidate sourcing channels beyond traditional job boards.

* Source candidates through industry events, webinars, conferences, and online communities.

Requirements

* 5+ years of recruitment experience, preferably including agency or executive search experience.

* Proven track record of filling difficult and niche positions.

* Strong headhunting and passive candidate engagement skills.

* Experience recruiting for Engineering / Manufacturing industries.

* Success rate in filling hard-to-fill positions.

* Hiring manager satisfaction.
