Hours: 8am - 5pm, Monday - Friday

About the Role
We are seeking an ambitious and driven Internal Sales Account Manager to join our growing team. This is a highly proactive sales role focused on developing existing customer relationships, identifying new business opportunities, and driving revenue growth within the construction sector.

The successful candidate will be responsible for managing a portfolio of accounts while actively engaging customers through outbound calls, customer reviews, lead generation, and sales campaigns. This is not an order-taking position; we are looking for someone who thrives on building relationships, uncovering opportunities, and consistently exceeding sales targets.

Key Responsibilities of this Internal Sales Account Manager

Manage and develop a portfolio of existing construction industry accounts.
Proactively contact customers to identify upcoming projects, requirements, and sales opportunities.
Generate new business through outbound prospecting and lead follow-up activities.
Build strong relationships with contractors, builders, developers, merchants, and other construction sector customers.
Prepare quotations and follow up to maximise conversion rates.
Identify opportunities to upsell and cross-sell products and services.
Work closely with external sales teams and operational departments to deliver excellent customer service.
Maintain accurate customer records and sales activity within the CRM system.
Monitor market activity, competitor developments, and industry trends.
Achieve and exceed agreed sales, margin, and activity targets.What We're Looking For as a Internal Sales Account Manager
Essential

Proven sales experience in an internal sales, account management, or business development role.
Strong commercial awareness and a proactive approach to generating sales opportunities.
Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
Ability to manage multiple accounts effectively and prioritise workload.
Target-driven mindset with a passion for achieving results.
Experience using CRM systems and Microsoft Office applications.Desirable

Experience within the construction, building materials, civils, drainage, roofing, or related sectors.
Knowledge of construction products, projects, and procurement processes.
