Job Description - Internal Sales Account Manager - B2B

The opportunity
As part of our planned future expansion, you will be a vital part of our sales team as our Internal Account manager. Your role is to maximise sales and profit growth from a designated established base of accounts whilst also working on reigniting the non-spenders within your base.
Contacting your accounts proactively by telephone to achieve year on year growth, you will be focused on increasing the number of product ranges across our portfolio into your existing customer base alongside having a focus on increasing revenue by promoting our new products.

£30,000 p.a. plus bonus
Hours

37.5 per week (Monday – Friday 08:30 – 16:30)
Holidays

25 days per calendar year + statutory bank holidays

About you
The successful applicant will:
Be a natural at developing and maintaining excellent relationships with customers and colleagues.
Motivated to make a high volume of proactive sales calls and be able to spot opportunities to mutually grow our customers business and AVSL’s business.
Communicate effectively and professionally across all of our departments within the business.
Identify and capitalise on up-selling and cross-selling opportunities for customer growth
Having audio and sound experience is advantageous.

Have a proven track record in sales account management.
·

Possess excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with a clear and confident telephone manner.
·

Display strong motivation and determination to consistently achieve targets.
·

Showcase in-depth knowledge of our products and brands while effectively pitching our wide range of offerings.
·

Maintain a positive and determined approach to consistently achieve set targets and KPI objectives with minimal supervision.
·

Foster strong internal and external relationships, collaborating with different departments within the organisation.
·

Manage records within our in-house system and diligently update call diaries to implement agreed follow up campaigns.
Whilst the role is primarily office based, occasional field customer activity may be required.

Previous experience in a similar role within the audio visual, sound, light, or consumer electronics industry is advantageous but not essential.
