Internal Sales Advisor

Are you an Internal Sales Advisor? Do you have experience in roofing materials? Are you based in Leeds?
This role could be for you!
Our client is a construction supplier that specialises in distributing roofing materials worldwide. They are recruiting for an Internal Sales Advisor who will be able to develop and maintain new sales which will be beneficial and profitable based in Leeds. You will need to proactively target new customers. It is a role that will see you collaborating closely with the warehouse team to ensure the right products are delivered at the right time. You will also need to regularly engage with our external sales force and credit control teams, following up on all sales quotes and leads in a timely manner. This role requires you to record activity and utilise internal systems accurately. Youll be inputting orders onto our system and maintaining sales records.
Responsibilities of an Internal Sales Advisor:
Effectively manage existing accounts to achieve maximum business.
Open new accounts and ensure that they develop profitably.
Ensure orders are input onto the system in an accurate and timely manner.
Make proactive sales telephone calls to lapsed accounts and potential new business.
Maximise add-on sales.
Work on the trade counter as required.
Any other reasonable duties within the individuals capabilities.
Skills:
Previous experience in a Sales-focused role.
Ability to build and maintain strong relationships.
Have strong customer service experience.
IT literate.
Experience within the roofing or construction industry would be preferable.
Benefits of an Internal Sales Advisor:
Base Salary is negotiable for the right person.
7.5% bonus
