Location: Wigan or surrounding areas

Remuneration: £30,000 – £32,000 and full benefits package

The role of the Technical Sales Advisor – Construction Products & Building Supplies will involve:

* Internally based technical sales advisor position selling a distributed range of construction products such as: concrete repair, waterproofing, screeding, joint filling, grouts & anchors, sealants, protective coating etc

* The majority of your time will be spent selling to builders merchants such as: Keyline, Travis Perkins, Buildbase and Jewson

* The remaining portion of your time will be spent selling to main contractors, sub-contractors and specialist contractors

* Inheriting circa 115-20 spending accounts that need day to day management

* Will have other responsibility for example supporting in the warehouse when needed

* Will be expected to generate new business however this will be predominantly with existing accounts

The ideal applicant will be Technical Sales Advisor – Construction Products & Building Supplies with:

* Ideally be in an internal sales, trade counter, customer service role currently in the building trade

* Would suit someone working within a merchants / distributors such as Jewson, Travis Perkins, Keyline, Buildbase, Selco etc as a trade counter sales person

* Ideally will have strong account management skills

* Must be able to build relationships and break down doors

* Enthusiastic

* Professional, organised and driven
