Internal Sales Advisor - Pharma and nutra

A leading supplier of speciality chemicals and raw materials to the pharma, nutra and wider life science industry is currently looking to hire an internal sales advisor to their team.

With dedicated sales and/or customer service experience from a chemical supplier or pharmaceutical manufacturer, you will join the well established team as they continue their growth within the UK.

This is a true sales role—not an administrative support position. It will suit someone who enjoys building relationships, spotting opportunities and proactively driving business forward.

What you will do:

* Build and develop strong relationships with a portfolio of customers

* Actively identify and pursue new sales opportunities

* Manage and progress customer enquiries, quotes, samples and projects with urgency and ownership

* Deliver clear, professional and timely communication to customers

* Support the external sales team through effective coordination and follow-up

* Maintain an accurate and active pipeline of opportunities using CRM tools

* Analyse customer activity and performance to identify risks and opportunities

* Follow up consistently on quotes, samples and ongoing projects to maximise conversion

* Represent the business professionally in customer interactions and at industry events where required

What you will need:

* Science qualification preferred - pharmaceutical sciences/chemistry highly advantageous but not essential

* Industry experience within life sciences or chemicals (preferred)

* Sales or customer engagement experience (essential)

* Strong IT skills (essential)

* Full UK driving licence (essential)
