We are working with a well-established, family-run manufacturing business based in the North East, known for its quality products, reliable service, and collaborative culture. As part of their continued growth, they are seeking an experienced Internal Sales Controller to lead their internal sales and customer service function.

This is a key leadership position responsible for managing a dedicated internal sales and customer service team. The successful candidate will act as the central point of contact for key B2B clients, ensuring smooth order processing, clear communication, and high service standards across the business.

• Lead and manage the internal sales and customer service team across two operational sites
• Develop and implement internal sales processes and service best practices
• Act as the main liaison for key B2B clients, ensuring timely and accurate communication
• Monitor sales performance and service metrics, identifying areas for improvement
• Collaborate with production, logistics, and commercial teams to ensure seamless order fulfilment
• Resolve escalated issues with a proactive, solutions-focused approach
• Coach and support team members to maintain high performance and morale

• Proven experience in an internal sales or customer service leadership role within a B2B environment
• Strong commercial awareness and client relationship skills
• Excellent communication and team leadership abilities
• Organised, proactive, and detail-oriented
• Willingness to travel between two North East sites
• Background in manufacturing or packaging is highly desirable
