Job Description - Internal Sales Engineer

Do you have a background in technical sales? Are you looking for a role that offers long term progression opportunities working for a fantastic organisation? If so, our client, a leading manufacturing business, is recruiting for an Inside Sales Engineer for their site in Gloucester. The role will involve building and maintaining customer relationships, providing them with quick responses to their enquiries and proactively following up quotations to secure orders.

Job Description

Responding to customer enquiries through multiple channels, including phone, email, live chat, and website contact forms
Proactively contacting suppliers to ensure quick responses
Specifying appropriate systems and replacement products and parts according to requirements and specification needs
Diligently following up on quotations to secure updates and convert enquiries into orders
Collaborating effectively with team members and offering support when needed

Essential Experience/Skills/Qualifications

Previous experience in a relevant sales role
Experience in working with customers who purchase technical equipment
A level of commercial acumen
