We are seeking an Internal Sales Engineer to strengthen our specialist sales department. This is an exciting opportunity for a commercially minded individual with an engineering or manufacturing background to develop their career in a technical sales role.

Job Summary:

Reporting to the Sales Manager, you will be responsible for liaising with customers and suppliers, preparing and issuing quotations, and following up to secure business. The role combines technical understanding with strong commercial awareness, providing the chance to work at the intersection of engineering and sales. Full training will be provided.

Key Responsibilities:

• Customer Liaison: Engage with clients to understand requirements and provide tailored solutions.
  
  
• Quotation Preparation: Generate accurate, timely, and competitive quotations.
  
  
• Supplier Coordination: Work with suppliers to obtain technical and commercial information.
  
  
• Follow-Up: Track and follow up quotations to maximise sales opportunities.
  
  
• Collaboration: Work closely with internal teams to ensure smooth order processing and project delivery.
  
  

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

• Essential: Background in engineering or manufacturing.
  
  
• Commercially minded with strong organisational and problem-solving skills.
  
  
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  
  
• Team player, able to collaborate effectively across departments.
  
  
• Proactive, detail-oriented, and customer-focused approach.
  
  

Education and Experience:

• Experience in internal sales, technical sales, or a related role is advantageous.
  
  
• Familiarity with industrial equipment or engineered solutions beneficial.
  
  
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
