Internal Sales Engineer – Industrial Equipment

Location: Loughborough, UK

Salary: £35,000 + Company bonus (~5%)

Join a global leader in the pumps, seals & valves industry delivering high-performance solutions for multiple industries. Our client is world renowned for their innovation, reliability and sustainability. 

As Internal Sales Engineer, you will be the link between customers and Area Sales Managers, helping to drive sales by handling technical enquiries and generating quotation. You will be working closely with internal teams including production, engineering and Sales, to ensure a seamless customer service experience. You’ll be joining an experienced team 

 

About the Role 

  • Supporting Area Sales Managers by handling customer enquiries and guiding them from initial contact to final sale.
  • Supporting the customer from enquiry to sale, ensuring customers receive the right technical solution.
  • Working closely with internal teams, including production, to prepare quotes and ensure smooth processes.
  • Provide an excellent customer service by prompt response and follow up action to resolve issues in a timely manner.
  • Updating internal databases and CRM systems with accurate and up to date customer information and enquiries, to ensure seamless tracking and reporting.

 

 

About you 

  • A strong technical background, ideally in mechanical components (eg pumps, valves, seals, hydraulics, or rotating equipment)
  • Experience in fluid handling industries, preferably within the water sector.
  • Strong attention to detail, with the ability to multitask and manage multiple customer enquiries, quotes and internal coordination simultaneously.
  • Excellent communication skills to liaise between customers, ASMs, and internal teams.
