Job Description - Internal Sales Executive

Internal Sales Executive

Location - Northampton
Hours - Monday–Thursday: 9:00am–5:00pm | Friday: 9:00am–4:30pm

Salary - £28,000–£30,000 DOE

We are proud to be partnering with a globally recognised industry expert known for delivering high-quality, sustainable products. Due to continued growth, they are seeking an enthusiastic and customer-focused Internal Sales Executive to join their team in Northampton.

This is an exciting opportunity for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment and enjoys building strong customer relationships while delivering an exceptional customer experience.

The Role

As an Internal Sales Executive, you will play a key role in supporting the sales process from initial enquiry through to order completion. Working closely with both customers and the external sales team, you will ensure a seamless customer journey while identifying opportunities to drive business growth.

Key Responsibilities

Build and maintain strong relationships with customers to encourage repeat business
Handle incoming sales enquiries and provide product and technical support
Prepare and issue quotations accurately and efficiently
Process sales orders and provide customers with delivery updates
Identify new business opportunities and support the external sales team
Deliver outstanding customer service at every stage of the customer journey
Keep up to date with industry trends and market developmentsAbout You

Previous experience within internal sales, customer service, or a similar role
Strong communication and relationship-building skills
Excellent organisational skills with strong attention to detail
Confident using ERP systems, CRM software, and Microsoft Office
Proactive, motivated, and results-driven approach
