Internal Sales Executive

SWRP are recruiting an Internal Sales Executive to join a growing business in Peterborough, Cambridgeshire. You will be responsible for developing new business, managing a sales pipeline, and building strong customer relationships.

Key Responsibilities:

* Proactively seek new business opportunities through a combination of inbound and outbound sales activity

* Develop and manage relationships with existing, lapsed, and prospective customers

* Maximise sales opportunities by upselling and expanding customer orders

* Conduct market research to identify target customers and uncover new opportunities

* Generate, manage, and follow up on customer quotations

* Maintain a structured and active sales pipeline to support business growth

* Build and maintain strong customer relationships, providing ongoing account support

Qualifications:

* Minimum of 1–2 years’ sales experience either within an office or retail environment

* Good understanding of the sales process and customer lifecycle

* Excellent communication and relationship-building skills

* Highly organised with the ability to manage a busy workload

* Ability to work independently and as part of a team

* Previous experience within the building, trades, or construction sector is advantageous
