Location: Commutable to Sandbach

Remuneration: £26,000 - £32,000neg + uncapped bonus, realistic OTE £50,000

The role of the Internal Sales Executive - Construction Products, PPE & Accessories will involve:

• Internal sales position promoting a distributed range of surface preparation tools, PPE, janitorial products, industrial consumables and decorators’ accessories and painting tools such as; rollers, squeegees, roller kits, paint brushes, mixing buckets, mixers, hand preparation tools etc
• Predominantly selling directly into flooring contractors, concrete floor preparation contractors and some line marking contractors
• Mix of business development and account management with a bias to new business
• Deal with incoming customer enquiries via telephone & email
• Produce quotes for customers and follow up in a timely manner
• Providing assistance for the external sales team where required
• Order values from £100 to £5,000, typically £250-£300
• Once you’ve learnt the product range there is progression into a field sales position

The ideal applicant will be an Internal Sales Executive - Construction Products, PPE & Accessories with:

• Must have B2B product sales experience, ideally within the construction industry
• Proactive, new business hunter who is willing to pick up the phone and make things happen
• Strong attention to detail and customer service orientated
• Tenacious, self-motivated and able to work autonomously
• Strong interpersonal skills to build customer relationships
• IT literate (Microsoft Office)
