The role of the Internal Sales Executive - Timber Products will involve:

• Internally based sales executive position selling a range of predominantly softwood timber products and sheet panel materials (but also joinery, softwood and decorative surfaces)
• Selling into various main contractors, subcontractors and end users
• Dealing with inbound sales enquiries via telephone and email
• Promoting new products and supporting special offers
• Pro-actively selling, following up leads and enquiries promptly
• Producing quotes to customers and following up to convert sale
• Upselling and cross selling where possible
• Providing excellent customer service to clients and building relationships
• Updating internal database with client details where required
• An element of looking for potential new business opportunities
• Analysing customer base to gather market information
• Supporting with general requirements from the branch and sales team

The ideal applicant will be an Internal Sales Executive - Timber Products with:

• Must have sales experience within the timber market sector
• Knowledge of softwoods and sheet panel products is advantageous
• Excellent communication skills both written and verbal
• Must be a good team player
• Computer literate (Microsoft Office)
• Wanting to forge a career - excellent scope to progress to management level
• Initiative and autonomous approach
• Driven, enthusiastic, hungry with a passion for the product and company
