Internal Sales HVAC Engineer / Key Accounts Estimator
Salford, M50

*    Full-time, permanent
*    £27,000–£37,000 dependent on experience
*    Fully office-based
*    Engineering graduates welcome – full training provided
*    Experience within the HVAC industry is desirable but not essential

About Air Handlers

Established in 1989, we manufacture heating, ventilating and air conditioning equipment for the building industry. Our state-of-the-art facilities provide a complete design, estimating, manufacturing and testing service, with in-house sheet metal fabrication and finishing allowing virtually limitless bespoke air handling designs.

The Role

You’ll support new and existing customers through the sales process, identify opportunities and provide accurate, efficient quotations using a range of computer selection programmes.

Your responsibilities will include:

*    Liaising with customers to understand their requirements and identify sales opportunities
*    Interpreting enquiries and selecting suitable ventilation equipment
*    Preparing accurate quotations using computer selection programmes
*    Following up with customers after quotations have been received
*    Recording customer communications in our CRM system

This role is fully office-based at our Salford premises.

About You

Whether you’re an engineering graduate starting your career or someone with relevant experience seeking a new opportunity, you’ll receive full training and support from our experienced team to build your knowledge and confidence.

We’re looking for:

*    Excellent communication and telephone skills
*    Self-motivation and a willingness to learn
*    An interest in supporting customers through the sales process
*    A desire to build a long-term career and progress
*    HVAC experience - desirable but not essential
*    Engineering drawing experience - beneficial but not essential
