Job Description - Internal Sales Representative

Internal Sales Representative - Life Science - Warrington - Competitive Salary + Bonus

About the Company

Our client is part of a global network with a proud heritage, a leading distributor of raw materials, they are on an exciting journey to become one of the top raw material distributors in the UK beauty sector.

They now seek a motivated and customer-focused Internal Sales Representative to join their dynamic team in Warrington. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with a proactive mindset and strong communication skills who’s ready to make an impact and grow with them.

Internal Sales Representative - The Rewards

  • Competitive salary (dependent on experience)
  • Bonus scheme
  • 22 days holiday (rising to 27 with service), including Christmas shutdown
  • Standard office hours with an early finish on Fridays

  • Occasional travel to customer sites, events, and training sessions

Internal Sales Representative - Requirements

  • Background or qualification in a science-related field (preferred)
  • Industry experience within chemicals, life sciences or beauty (preferred)
  • Proactive, self-driven, and confident communicator
  • Strong organisational skills with attention to detail
  • Able to build relationships with customers and internal teams
  • Comfortable with cold calling and phone-based interaction
  • Strong IT competency
  • Full UK driving licence (essential)

Internal Sales Representative - Responsibilities

  • Deliver excellent service to a defined set of customers
  • Maintain and grow existing customer accounts
  • Work alongside the external sales team to support commercial activities
  • Promote and sell products, send quotes, and submit sample requests
  • Follow up on customer projects, quotes and samples
  • Track and report on sales trends, lost business, and growth opportunities
  • Conduct market research and attend local industry events
  • Write up meeting reports and keep systems updated
  • Occasionally travel to industry events and meetings
