The main purpose of the role

The role of the Internal Sales Representative is key to the effective management of our Saniflo and Kinedo sales enquiries and ongoing lead management. The Internal Sales Representatives are often the first point of contact for our clients, both consumer & trade, and the focus of the role is to provide excellence in customer service and to maximise the customer experience, whilst providing sales leads & administrative support to the external Sales Team.

This is a fixed-term 12-month contract for maternity cover.
The role is office based, Monday to Friday, 9 am – 5 pm.
Applicants within a 10–15-mile radius of Watford.

Key tasks

To oversee and manage all sales leads that may arise from either our web platform, external platforms, telephone, or email contact across all Saniflo & Kinedo product ranges.
Reviewing sales opportunities provided by lead generation platforms, identifying said lead by product type, quantity, and stage of contract and then entering the information into CRM and allocating to the relevant salesperson.
To prepare status reports on projects whereby CRM leads are utilised (examples: MPBA, Exhibitions).
To maintain regular contact with pre-determined merchant & showroom customers on behalf of the external Sales Team.
Manage customer enquiries within geographical areas of the UK as defined by the National Account Manager, to provide customer support in areas of no representation or based on defined campaigns.
To maintain regular contact with the Saniflo and Kinedo installer network to provide product updates, facilitate leads and maintain good working relationships.
Supporting the Customer Service Manager to provide cover for the Sales and Technical desk with any overflow calls, holiday cover or as and when required.
To assist the Marketing Manager in maintaining project metrics for the Kinedo website.
Working with the National Sales Managers, National Account Manager and Marketing Manager to devise inside sales campaigns for National and Independent Merchants.
To offer telephone support for basic product advice, showroom location, merchant or installer and pre-installation advice of product to end-users.
Updating the online pricing spreadsheet monthly and sharing it with the Managing Director, National Sales Managers and National Account Manager.

Knowledge and experience

Previous experience in Project coordination and ideally with a sales background.
Excellent project planning skills and experience in using customer relationship software tools such as MS-Microsoft Business Dynamics 365 CRM.
Ability to integrate well into a team and build relationships with our Senior Management Team, Sales Team, and Sales Engineers.
Excellent and effective English communication skills, both verbal and written (including excellent presentation skills)
Good knowledge of the MS Office Suite, and in particular a strong knowledge of Excel and PowerPoint
Proven organisational skills and can complete multiple tasks as assigned.

Complexity and creativity

Organisational skills, communication skills, flexible and adaptable approach to work and the ability to prioritise workload. The role holder should be competent at providing and presenting data reports to demonstrate the performance of activity of leads, quotes, and opportunities via CRM.

Judgement and decisions

The job holder is expected to use their judgement to make decisions that will have a major, positive impact on the company's performance, seeking guidance from the National Account Manager when an authorisation is required. They must demonstrate a well-developed sense of priorities, and understanding when senior management needs to be consulted. A proven ability to show decision-making consistent with the growth of business levels is essential.

Operational responsibility

To influence decision-makers through the effective use of selling techniques of value-based selling, added value, features, advantages and benefits to grow sales for Saniflo/Kinedo. To evaluate potential leads via lead generation platforms and in a timely manner input these into CRM, assigning them to the relevant Area Salesperson. On a monthly basis, provide data analysis on the performance of the follow-up of lead to visit, to quote, to opportunity, providing this information to senior managers.

Reporting

Maintain all customer records within the company CRM system daily. Completion of monthly CRM activity reports and online reports will be required by the job holder and submitted to the National Account Manager in a timely manner. The job holder will be required to attend sales meetings held either by the National Sales Manager, Sales Director, or business and to contribute within such meetings, effectively and professionally.

Contacts and communications

The job holder must demonstrate an ability to communicate effectively in all expected formats (previously defined) to promote awareness of agreed activities within their customer base and with SFA Saniflo UK internal departments. Internal: 90% spent with the defined customer base, as provided at times by the National Account Manager to present the features, advantages and benefits of the Saniflo/Kinedo range across all sectors and channels of the trading area. Identifying leads from lead generation portals, managing these leads within CRM, and providing reports of activity by the Area Sales Managers. Providing cover for technical and sales as and when required. External: 10% spent based on sales meetings and other meetings such as specific product training or exhibitions.
