Internal Sales Road Freight Executive

Our client is a well-established road freight haulage company specialising in road freight movements to Ireland, UK and Europe.
With a wealth of experience in this sector my client has built up an impressive network of offices and agents Worldwide, offering the freight forwarding solutions with long standing partners and offices. With modern purpose-built warehousing facilities to provide extra service to their customers.

We are now recruiting at their Bury location for a Road Freight Internal Sales executive

You will be responsible for providing excellent customer service to clients, sales development and sales support, resolving inquiries and ensuring customer satisfaction.

Key responsibilities:
* Answer phone calls and emails from customers in a timely and professional manner.
* Maintain accurate records of customer interactions - Quote Logs etc
* Develop relationships with existing customers.
* Develop New Business.
* Make appointments for visits by Branch & General Manager where suitable.
* General Admin.
* Assist Operators where required.

Skills required:
* Road freight internal sales / sales support experience
* Mature and dynamic personality, which enables the focus of interaction with colleagues to be proactive.
* A good understanding of how important customer satisfaction and trust is to the business.
* Good customer service skills
* Proficiency in Microsoft office
* Ability to work independently and part of a team
* Good organisational skills
* Good communications skills, including the ability to communicate effectivity at all levels
* IT literate
* Time and self-management skills
* Ability to work under pressure
* Enthusiasm & willingness to learn
* Ability to use own initiative
* High school diploma or equivalent
