Internal Sales Support/Customer Support – Based Milton Keynes IMMEDIATE START! This is a fully office based role – Candidates must be able to drive and have their own car Basic salary £28,000 to £30,000 plus annual bonus – hours of work Monday to Friday 8.00am to 5.00pm, 1 hour for lunch, excellent company pension scheme and 25 days holiday plus bank holidays, free parking, full product training will be provided. Company Overview My client is part of a global group of companies and supplies products to the electrical wholesale market, data infrastructure installers, and industrial end users. Candidate Profile * This role would ideally suit a graduate with experience of working within a customer-facing role and sits in the customer services department. * You will be articulate, professional, and keen to learn about the company’s products. * Strong Microsoft Office skills, particularly in Excel and Word. * The successful candidate will be enthusiastic about developing a career in business development. Candidate Skills Experience and Training * Sales experience within the data infrastructure or networking industry would be advantageous but is not essential as full training will be provided. * There are opportunities to progress into a Business Development role. * Telephone sales experience would be beneficial. Customer Focus and Relationship Building * A hard-working, personable individual who can build strong customer relationships and deliver exceptional service. * A customer-focused approach and a commitment to resolving enquiries professionally. Communication and Personal Qualities * Excellent verbal and written communication skills. * A positive, hard-working attitude with the ability to perform well under pressure. * Dynamic, enthusiastic, and motivated by achievement and success. * A strong team player with a professional and approachable manner. Administration and Attention to Detail * Good typing speed and accuracy. * Conscientious, organised, and able to maintain a high level of attention to detail. Duties Customer Service and Sales Support * Work as part of a busy Customer Service department, supporting customers and internal teams. * Answer telephone enquiries and proactively contact new and dormant clients. * Help build product and brand awareness with customers through professional and knowledgeable communication. Quotations, Orders and Follow-Up * Prepare pricing, raise quotations and follow up with customers in a timely manner. * Process orders accurately and respond to ordering queries. * Resolve customer delivery issues efficiently and professionally. Training and Development * Complete a full product and systems training programme. Take part in sales and business development training to support future progression Only candidates based in UK and eligible to work in UK are allowed
