This is a fully office-based role in Knutsford

My client is seeking two commercially minded Internal Sales/Account Engineers with strong technical knowledge and enthusiasm for customer engagement and solution selling.

As an Internal Sales/Account Engineer, you will be joining an established engineering business offering competitive pay, a supportive team environment and opportunities to build your technical and commercial skills.

Salary and Benefits

* Basic salary ranges from graduate at £30,000 up to £45,000 per year, depending on skills and experience, plus an annual discretionary bonus

* Monday–Friday, 8:30am–5pm; 40 hours per week

* 31 days’ holiday, including bank holidays, increasing with service

Candidate Skills

* Ideally, you will be a mechanical engineering graduate or be qualified by experience

* Mechanical/technical or internal sales account management experience in an industrial/engineering/manufacturing industry

* Effective communication skills, with a proactive and organised approach

* Experience using CRM systems and Microsoft Office

* Any experience in of valves, flow control, oil and gas, or manufacturing is desirable, but not essential



Key Responsibilities

* You will the main contact for technical and commercial enquiries, supporting customers from first enquiry to order processing

* Handle enquiries and prepare quotations that meet customer requirements

* Support customers with technical and commercial advice

* Process orders and keep CRM opportunity and interaction records up to date

* Grow key accounts to generate more enquiries and sales

* Review customer terms and ensure margins meet company expectations

* Work with external sales colleagues to share leads and opportunities
