International Corporate Tax Senior Manager

Location: Manchester, Leeds, Newcastle, Birmingham or Glasgow offices.

Overview

The incumbent will work with a range portfolio of large clients across UK listed, Private Equity, inbound and family-owned groups. You will also handle on a variety of projects including BEPS Pillar 2, tax structuring and international expansion.

You will be technically proficient at Senior Manager level; supporting my clients’ growth in international tax provision.

The role will suit either a Senior Manager wanting to develop your tax career or a forward-thinking Manager wanting to take the next step in your career.

Role and Responsibilities:

1. You will work as a key member of the team, providing corporate tax advice to an array of clients.
2. You will manage the delivery of technically complex direction including: BEPS Pillar 2 assessment and implementation, tax structuring, refinancing, legal structure optimisation, pre/post transaction reorganisations, tax authority enquiries and providing complex technical support to the wider corporate tax team, e.g. on hybrid mismatches.
3. Involved with business development activities.
4. You will manage proposals for new work; including delivering tender documents, presenting at client pitches and identifying solutions for client issues.
5. The postholder will develop and maintain robust relationships with in order to create opportunities to help with the provision of tax and other services.

Qualifications, Experience and Skills:

1. ACA, CA, CTA, ACCA or equivalent qualifications
2. Solid corporate tax technical knowledge
3. Develop, coach and lead staff, as well as manage stakeholders
