A leading specialist law firm is seeking an International Protection & Arbitration Paralegal to join its busy London office.

This is an excellent opportunity for a Paralegal with experience in immigration, international protection, arbitration or human rights to join a highly respected team. Working alongside experienced solicitors, you will support a varied caseload while developing your expertise in complex international and public law matters.

The International Protection & Arbitration Paralegal's Role

The successful International Protection & Arbitration Paralegal will provide legal and administrative support across a broad range of international protection and arbitration matters.

Responsibilities will include:

Drafting legal correspondence, witness statements and court documents
Preparing Home Office, Tribunal and Court applications
Managing electronic and paper case files
Liaising with clients, counsel, courts and government bodies
Attending client meetings, conferences and hearings, taking detailed attendance notes
Preparing bundles and supporting documentation
Monitoring deadlines and maintaining accurate case management records
Assisting with legal research and case preparation
Supporting AML, compliance and client onboarding procedures
Contributing to business development through networking and legal articles

The International Protection & Arbitration Paralegal

At least 6 months' paralegal experience within immigration, litigation, arbitration or human rights
Law degree, GDL, LPC or SQE qualification
Strong drafting and legal research skills
Excellent written and spoken English
Outstanding organisational skills with the ability to manage competing priorities
Strong client care and interpersonal skills
Proactive, adaptable and able to work both independently and as part of a team
Experience of Home Office procedures, international arbitration or human rights work would be advantageous
