International Tax Manager

Job Title: International Tax Manager
Location: Manchester
Salary Range: £80k - £85k
Working Style: Hybrid

We are partnered with a global Law firm who are seeking an experienced International Tax Manager to join their Finance team in Manchester. This is a unique opportunity to take ownership of complex, cross-border tax matters across North America, Latin America, and Asia Pacific, supporting both entity and partner-level compliance.

• Oversee international tax compliance, including corporate tax, VAT/GST, social security, and withholding tax.

• Work closely with internal stakeholders and external advisers on partner tax matters and profit sourcing strategies.

• Manage tax-related processes for non-UK tax resident partners, including equalisation and UK filing coordination.

• Collaborate with the Transfer Pricing team and support group-level tax accounting, reconciliations, and strategic tax planning.

• Line manage a Non-UK Tax Accountant and contribute to global tax policy development.

• Act as a key point of contact for international tax issues and deputise for the Global Head of Tax when required.

• ACA, ACCA, or CTA qualified (ADIT desirable).

• Strong technical knowledge of international tax with experience in a global or partnership structure.

• Confident communicator with the ability to explain complex tax issues to non-specialists.

• Advanced Excel skills and experience with accounting systems.

• Self-motivated and comfortable working remotely when needed.
