About the Role

A welcoming primary school in Hackney is seeking an experienced Interventions Teaching Assistant to join their team on a full-time basis.

The successful Interventions Teaching Assistant will work closely with class teachers and the SENCO to deliver targeted intervention sessions to pupils who require additional support. You will work with individuals and small groups, focusing on key curriculum areas including phonics, English, and Maths, helping children build confidence, develop core skills, and close learning gaps.

The role will involve tracking pupil progress, adapting intervention strategies to meet individual needs, and supporting children to achieve their learning goals. The ideal candidate will have previous experience delivering interventions within a primary school setting and a good understanding of the primary curriculum.
