£33,000 | West Midlands | 12-Month+ Maternity Cover | FMCG Manufacturing

Are you an experienced Inventory Controller, Stock Controller or Supply Chain Coordinator looking for your next opportunity?

I'm currently recruiting for an Inventory Co-Ordinator to join an established FMCG Manufacturer in the West Midlands.

This is a minimum 12-month maternity cover contract, working closely with the Inventory Manager and the wider Warehouse, Purchasing and Production teams.

What will you be doing?

This is a hands-on inventory role where you'll be responsible for keeping stock accurate, controlled and moving efficiently across the operation.

You'll be involved in:

* Managing day-to-day inventory levels and stock accuracy

* Carrying out cycle counts and physical stock checks

* Investigating stock discrepancies and identifying root causes

* Maintaining accurate inventory records through ERP systems

* Reconciling stock movements with Warehouse, Purchasing and Production

* Coordinating inbound and outbound shipments

* Checking goods receipts and dispatch documentation

* Producing inventory reports, including stock ageing, valuation and usage

* Supporting stock audits and inventory control processes

* Identifying ways to improve stock accuracy, reduce discrepancies and improve inventory efficiency

* Ensuring all Health & Safety procedures and safe working practices are followed

What are they looking for?

You'll ideally have experience in inventory, stock control or supply chain, preferably within FMCG or manufacturing.

We're looking for someone who:

* Has strong attention to detail

* Is confident working with ERP/inventory systems

* Can investigate discrepancies rather than simply report them

* Is comfortable working with data and producing reports

* Works well across Warehouse, Production and Purchasing

* Is organised, proactive and commercially aware

* Can work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment

Salary & Benefits

* £33,000 salary
