Are you an experienced Inventory Manager with experience of managing relationships overseas? Does the thought of joining a growing manufacturer with a reputation for excellence appeal to you?

We are currently recruiting for an Inventory Manager to join a leading, nationwide manufacturer in Ammanford. This is a great opportunity to part of their success and play a very important role in the Supply Chain.

As Inventory Manager you will:

- Oversee the internal supply chain, managing relationships with suppliers in both the UK and China to ensure the efficient and cost-effective handling of materials.

- Order and maintain inventory within strict minimum and maximum levels, issuing materials through a team, receiving goods, and conducting accurate month-end stock takes.

- Ensure inventory is maintained within strict minimum and maximum stock levels, implementing robust inventory control procedures to enhance efficiency.

- Manage the internal supply chain, working with the UK and China suppliers to ensure timely and cost effective procurement, building strong relationships and resolving any supply chain issues promptly.

- Plan and raise purchase orders based on production schedules and demand forecasts.

- Negotiate with suppliers to secure the best prices, terms, and delivery schedules.

- Supervise the team responsible for issuing materials to production and other departments whilst delivering training and performance reviews.
