Investment Associate - Credit (Asset Management) - Emerging Markets

This is a high-impact Associate role within a specialist emerging markets credit platform, offering exposure across transaction execution, credit analysis, and portfolio management.

The role focuses on deploying capital into structured credit opportunities and is suited to candidates looking to build broader ownership across deal execution within a lean team environment.

What you'll be doing.

1. Lead execution across senior debt, structured and project finance deals, from screening through to close, including modelling, credit analysis, IC materials, and due diligence.
2. Assess credit risk in complex emerging market contexts and support the structuring of robust, innovative financing solutions.
3. Take responsibility for portfolio performance post-investment, monitoring assets, engaging stakeholders, and managing amendments or restructurings.
4. Act as a key link between senior leadership and external stakeholders (DFIs, sponsors, lenders, advisors), while contributing to pipeline development and investor processes.
5. Review Analyst output, provide guidance, and help elevate execution standards across the platform.

Your Profile

1. 4–7 years’ experience in credit, structured/project finance, or leveraged finance
2. Proven track record executing transactions end-to-end
3. Strong financial modelling and credit underwriting capability
4. Emerging markets exposure (Africa advantageous)
