Industrials IB Senior Analyst
The Investment Banking Senior Analyst in EMEA Industrials is an intermediate level position responsible for providing bespoke strategic advisory services to clients. The Senior Analyst is expected to work with Senior Bankers across EMEA in business origination and execution across Citi’s product set, with particular focus on episodic and strategic financing transactions. The overall objective of this role is to drive revenue by cross selling the Citi platform while efficiently deploying the firm's capital and evaluating and managing risk.

The role encompasses:

• This is an opportunity to join the team with heavy focus on global client set and delivery of market leading industry content, championing the deliverance of Corporate Finance initiatives.
• The Senior Analyst will also work very closely with multiple relationship teams throughout Citi and product partners including Capital Markets
• Providing analytical support, risk assessment and monitoring of existing and new relationships in the Industrials portfolio

Responsibilities:

• Member of deal team for the origination and execution of episodic and Corporate Finance transactions involving clients across EMEA
• Responsible for staying abreast of market and industry trends, “best practices” and competitive landscape
• Day-to-day responsibilities include developing client pitch materials tailored to meet client needs, lead execution of episodic transactions / financings and foster and leverage on-going relationships across the EMEA region
• Responsible for evaluating public filings, research reports, operations, business plans, and financial models to produce strategic and financial analyses
• The Senior Analyst will develop (i) in-depth understanding of the dynamics of the business, (ii) an understanding of clients’ priorities with the aim of identifying appropriate marketing opportunities and (iii) strong relationships internally with key product, risk and regional partners.

Qualifications:

• Strong experience working in an investment banking role
• Consistently demonstrates clear and concise written and verbal communication skills
• Self-starter - prepared to take the initiative to follow issues through, whilst exercising judgment as to when to seek assistance
• Ability to work under pressure in a rapidly changing environment in order to meet deadlines
• Bachelor's degree/University degree or equivalent experience
