Investment Banking Vice President | London

We are seeking a highly motivated individual to join our client's Investment Banking team in London.

This position offers immediate exposure to high-profile, cross-border transactions within their team, providing hands-on involvement in complex strategic projects and significant responsibility from day one.

Responsibilities:

• Lead execution of complex M&A, restructuring, and capital-raising transactions within the Aerospace & Defence sector. The client is not requiring the candidate to have specific Aerospace & Defence experience.
• Manage deal teams and coordinate all aspects of transaction processes, including financial modelling, valuation, due diligence, and client presentations.
• Develop and maintain strong client relationships, acting as a trusted advisor to senior executives and stakeholders.
• Oversee preparation of high-quality pitch materials, transaction documents, and market analyses.
• Mentor and guide junior team members, ensuring excellence in deliverables and professional development.
• Collaborate with global offices and cross-functional teams to deliver seamless execution on international mandates.
• Stay ahead of industry trends, regulatory developments, and competitive dynamics to provide informed insights to clients.

Requirements:

• Experience: 6-10 years of investment banking or related financial advisory experience, with a strong track record in M&A, capital raising, and strategic transactions. This M&A experience can be from any sector.
• Technical Skills: Advanced proficiency in financial modelling, valuation techniques, and transaction structuring.
• Leadership: Proven ability to lead deal teams, manage multiple work-streams, and mentor junior professionals.
• Client Management: Strong relationship-building skills and experience engaging with senior executives and stakeholders.
• Communication: Exceptional presentation, negotiation, and written communication skills.
• Analytical Ability: High attention to detail, strategic thinking, and ability to solve complex problems under tight deadlines.
• Global Mindset: Comfort working on cross-border transactions and collaborating with international teams.
