What does Client Investment look like at Ascot Lloyd?

• This is a full-time role, based from our Glasgow office, for a Private Client Investment Manager to provide coverage for our Ascot Lloyd advisers (incorporating our new colleagues from Aberdeen Financial Planning) in Scotland and the North of England. In this role, you will be responsible for managing bespoke investment portfolios, including tax-efficient strategies for private clients, trusts, and other entities, and ensuring alignment with clients' financial objectives and risk tolerance.

• Day-to-day responsibilities also include working closely with our professional financial advisers, to assist them in understanding and deploying our range of MPS & OEIC solutions.

• You will play a key role in building and maintaining strong adviser & client relationships through effective communication and a thorough understanding of financial markets.

What you'll bring to the position

• Experience in managing portfolios for private clients and working knowledge of financial planning principles

• Strong analytical skills and expertise in portfolio management

• Professional qualifications such as CISI or CFA are highly desirable (min Level 6)

• Excellent communication and relationship-building skills with an ability to collaborate effectively with clients and advisers

• A strong understanding of investment markets and risk management

• Ability to work effectively in a hybrid setting as well as having flexibility to work from home too

• Proactive attitude with a focus on delivering high-quality client service
