Job Description - Investor Relations Analyst (FTC)

About us

Climate Asset Management is an independent investment firm co-owned by HSBC Asset Management (HSBC AM) and Pollination. HSBC AM is the asset management arm of HSBC, one of the world’s leading and most respected international financial institutions. Pollination is a climate change advisory and investment firm, solely focused on accelerating the transition to a net zero, climate resilient future and a world leader in finance, investment, technology, business, law, and policy.

Climate Asset Management is a purpose-oriented investment firm, unbound by legacy, which has established a series of natural capital funds, investing in a diverse range of activities that value, preserve, protect and enhance nature over the long-term, helping to address climate change, while delivering commercial risk-adjusted returns to investors. We aim to unlock natural capital investment opportunities at scale. Through our shareholders we leverage HSBC’s experience as the world’s leading bank for sustainable finance* and Pollination’s deep, global expertise in natural capital, mainstreaming natural capital as an asset class.

*Euromoney winner 2019 & 2020 “World’s Best Bank for Sustainable Finance”.

Our Purpose

Our purpose is to secure a more climate-resilient, nature-positive and inclusive world through bold, scalable nature-based investment solutions.

Our Values

We have assembled, and continue to grow a highly motivated, multinational and multilingual team.  We aim to reflect our four core values in everything we do:

  • Passion: both in helping our clients achieve their objectives and in using our collective energy and expertise to help solve the big issues of the day

  • Integrity: both in doing the right thing and in holding ourselves accountable

  • Ambition: both in our optimism and our drive, aspiring to the highest quality standards and seeking to evolve and improve continually

  • Inclusiveness: where we prioritise diversity, equality and inclusion, collaborating widely and connecting thoughts with technological innovation for breakthrough ideas and systemic change

Our Investment Strategy

We have two investment strategies with three active funds, including:

  1. A Natural Capital Fund, investing in sustainable agriculture, forestry and environmental assets in developed economies, seeking to optimise landscapes for production and ecosystem services;

  2. A Nature Based Carbon Fund, offering investors access to global nature-based carbon projects at scale in developing economies that generate high integrity carbon credits.

  3. Our Carbon Nature Fund which we manage on behalf of Apple’s Restore Fund, which is a unique blended strategy that combines the financial returns of the Natural Capital Fund with the impact of the Nature Based Carbon Fund.

We are continuing to fundraise for these strategies while deploying funds into projects around the world.

We will be developing second vintages and launching new investment strategies that continue to help our investors and stakeholders meet their net zero commitments while helping protect the planet from land degradation, biodiversity loss and climate change.

The opportunity

We are currently seeking an Investor Relations Analyst to join our global team in London on a fixed-term basis. In this role, you will be an integral member of the Sales, Distribution and Investor Relations function, working cross‑functionally across all products.

You will gain exposure to the full investor lifecycle, including product development, investor prospecting, onboarding, and ongoing relationship management with leading institutional and corporate investors. This end‑to‑end exposure provides valuable insight into market trends across real assets and impact investing, and how these trends inform the development of new investable products.

You will also collaborate on capital‑raising initiatives, contributing creatively to the preparation of materials for a diverse investor audience and helping tailor investment opportunities to specific investor needs.

Working with CRM systems and investor portals will provide hands‑on experience in the data‑driven side of investor relations, while coordinating cross‑functional initiatives will further develop project management skills within a globally connected team. Key Responsibilities will include:

  • Investor Relations: Support responses to investor queries in a timely and professional manner, and coordinate the preparation and distribution of recurring investor materials (quarterly reports, investor calls, recordings). This work requires close collaboration across multiple internal teams and strong organisational and interpersonal skills.

  • Marketing Content: Assist in creating, reviewing and refining investor and client marketing materials (primarily PowerPoint and Word), including pitch decks. Responsibilities include managing internal sign‑offs, compliance reviews, and ensuring accurate filing across data rooms, internal systems and CRM.

  • Organisational Support: Help organise roadshows and investor meetings, maintain accurate records in the CRM system (Dynamics), and support responses to RFPs, DDQs and reporting requests using existing documentation. Curiosity about use of AI for responding DDQs is welcome.

  • Investor Onboarding Support: Assist clients with investor portals, legal documentation and onboarding‑related requests.

This is a full‑time role. While maintaining a healthy work‑life balance is important to us, flexibility to work outside standard office hours is occasionally required due to the multiple time zones in which we operate in.

Who We’re Looking For

Essential Skills

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business, Communications, or a related field

  • 1–2 years’ experience in investor relations, asset management or banking

  • Strong organisational and time‑management skills, with the ability to manage multiple workstreams simultaneously

  • A high level of organisation is critical to success in this role

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly PowerPoint and Word

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with an interest in working cross‑functionally

  • Ability to work independently while thriving in a small team environment

  • Meticulous attention to detail and a strong commitment to accuracy

Preferred Skills

  • Prior experience in Business Development or Investor Relations

Recognition

  • Agri Investor Global Awards 2025

  • Sustainable Investment Awards 2025

  • Agri Investor Global Awards 2024

  • Sustainable Investment Awards 2024
