About our client
We are working with a leading European Mid-Market private equity firm looking to expand their Investor Relations team. As an Analyst, you will support across all investor servicing and fundraising activities. The ideal candidate will be hands on and numerate with a good eye for detail. The Investor Relations team plays a central role in delivering best-in-class investor servicing and communications across their funds and strategies.
Support with the drafting and review of the quarterly investor reports
Liaise with the Fund Finance team to obtain relevant analysis, process and perform initial reviews of figures provided for Investor Relations use
Assist with analysis for ad-hoc investor requests and drafting responses to investor queries and requests for information
Work across the firm's portfolio monitoring system, data room and CRM to support Investor Relations processes
Co-ordinate with internal and external parties to ensure investor requests are resolved in a timely manner
Help maintain fundraising and investor communications materials (factsheets, track record tables, portfolio updates) and ensure consistency between the data room, DDQ library and slide materials
Who we are looking for
Experience in a numerical, analysis focused role, ideally within private markets
Ability to demonstrate a high-level understanding of the basics of the private equity industry. This may include the structure of private equity funds and the general concepts associated with the industry (e.g. money multiple, IRR, carried interest, hurdle rate etc.)
Preferably ACA qualified, or demonstrate equivalent technical experience
Highly proficient in Microsoft Office
Strong analytical and quantitative skills with the ability to present data clearly
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal
Good eye for presentation and be able to summarise and produce information and graphs in appropriate formats
