IP Support Specialist – London

A leading IP firm is seeking an experienced IP Support Specialist to join its busy and growing IT & Engineeringgroup based in Cambridge. You will play a key role in supporting Partners, Associates and Technical Assistants across a broad range of IP matters. This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to make a meaningful contribution to a high-performing team while gaining exposure to complex, high-value work.

Responsibilities:

• Tracking deadlines and managing caseloads for Fee Earners
• Drafting standard correspondence and assisting with filings and responses (UK, EP and international)
• Handling WIP charges and overseeing monthly billing, including e-billing platforms
• Maintaining document accuracy and data integrity within internal systems
• Liaising with attorneys and clients to support matter progression
• Assisting with file opening, case monitoring and general IP administrative tasks

Requirements:

• Previous experience in a patent support or formalities role, ideally within a professional services or IP environment
• Strong organisational skills and excellent attention to detail
• Proficiency with IP management systems and billing software
• Comfortable managing deadlines and prioritising workload independently
• A collaborative and proactive approach to working in a team
