Duration: Permanent

Location: Birmingham

Working model: Three days onsite, two from home

Pay rate: £50,000 per annum

Hours: 35 Hours per week

Duties/Responsibilities:

• Support the Director of Finance & ICT in developing and delivering the ICT strategy and vision, translating it into actionable goals
• Oversee GDPR compliance, data protection, and IT security in partnership with 3rd party providers, ensuring adherence to privacy laws and regulatory practices
• Manage and implement IT projects, including sourcing, introducing, and maintaining software, hardware, and end-of-life planning
• Develop, review, and maintain IT policies, procedures, and best practice guides, particularly on AI, cybersecurity, and emerging technologies
• Coordinate IT operations to ensure network service availability, data security, business continuity, and disaster recovery readiness
• Deliver training to staff on ICT, AI, and related technologies to build organisational capability
• Manage IT budgets, vendor performance, and the administration of systems, devices, and mobile technology
• Identify and address security vulnerabilities and recommend and implement new technology and AI solutions that drive efficiency without compromising security
• Keep senior leadership updated on IT strategy, projects, and risks, and develop mitigation strategies for future IT challenges

Requirements:

• In Depth knowledge of ICT policies and systems and formulating policies
• Experience in System Implementation and modern networking solutions
• Experience in managing IT Security, Disaster Recovery and Business Continuity Plans
• IT or Cyber Security Certifications (ITIL / CompTIASecurity+)
