IT Change Manager/Analyst

A well-established organisation is seeking an experienced IT Asset Management Specialist to support the continued development and improvement of its IT Asset Management capability. Working within a complex technology environment, you will play a key role in strengthening governance, improving data quality and driving best practice across the asset lifecycle.

Your new role

As an IT Asset Management Specialist, you will support the ongoing maturity and improvement of the organisation's ITAM function. You will be responsible for reviewing existing processes, identifying opportunities for improvement and helping to drive greater visibility, control and governance across hardware and software assets.

Working closely with IT, procurement, finance and operational teams, you will focus on asset lifecycle management, data quality, reporting, compliance and continuous service improvement. This is a hands-on role suited to someone who can quickly assess the current environment, identify gaps and implement practical improvements.

What you'll need to succeed
- Demonstrable experience within IT Asset Management (ITAM)
- Strong understanding of Hardware Asset Management (HAM) and/or Software Asset Management (SAM)
- Experience working with ServiceNow, CMDB, ITAM, HAM Pro or SAM Pro
- Experience improving asset data quality, reconciliation and reporting
- Knowledge of governance, compliance and asset lifecycle management principles
- Experience identifying process gaps and implementing improvements
- Strong stakeholder management and communication skills
- Experience working within ITIL-aligned environments
- The ability to work independently and provide recommendations to improve ITAM practices
