Summary:

An exciting opportunity has opened up for a hands-on IT Deployment Team Lead to join a growing and fast-paced Managed Services provider. You'll take ownership of a small team responsible for their DaaS delivery, building and deploying end-user devices, while ensuring service standards are met and internal processes continuously improve.

The Role:

As the IT Deployment Team Lead, you'll manage a team of engineers delivering the end-to-end lifecycle of user devices, from build and configuration to delivery and user onboarding. You'll take ownership of workflow, prioritise tasks in line with SLA agreements, and ensure accurate documentation and asset management through configuration management database tools. The role combines people leadership, technical delivery, and process improvement, ideal for someone who enjoys staying hands-on while managing a team.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Leading and mentoring a small team of Deployment Engineers.
• Managing incoming workload and scheduling deployments in line with SLAs.
• Building and configuring Windows/macOS laptops, desktops, mobiles, and tablets
• Managing onboarding and leavers process, ensuring device readiness and security compliance.
• Improving internal deployment processes, documentation, and troubleshooting procedures.

Skills & Experience Required:

• Strong technical knowledge of Microsoft Intune (Autopilot), Windows OS, and M365
• Experience with device deployment and hardware builds (RAM/SSD upgrades, etc.)
• Familiarity with ITSM systems and asset/configuration management (CMDB).
• Knowledge of Active Directory, Entra ID, iOS/Android device management.
• Hands-on experience with desktop support and device lifecycle services.
• Previous MSP or IT Services background (desirable)
• Strong communication and team management skills
