The TRU West Alliance is delivering a key part of the Transpennine Route Upgrade (TRU), a multi-billion pound investment programme that will increase capacity and provide space for millions more passengers in the north every year. The TRU West Alliance is responsible for this transformation between Leeds and Manchester Victoria.
Your mission
Reporting to the Head of Business Systems, the IT Developer primarily designs, builds and maintains digital solutions for the Alliance. The individual alsoprovidesend user support and performs administrative tasks to ensure smooth operation of Alliance systems.
Who are we looking for?
Key responsibilities

include;
Collaborate with process owners and Alliance stakeholders to understand, gather, and refine user requirements
Design, build & test

of digital solutions based on requirements
Provide advisories to inform project scope
Environnentcreation& maintenance (Dev, UAT, Prod)
Support

users with issues/changes to existing solutions
Administrative tasks

permissions, monitoring
Create detailed technical documentation andprovidetraining
Researching

technologies and solutions to drive improvements
Optimise

solutions for better performance and scalability
Regularlymonitorsystem performance
General
Attend project and programme meetings asrequired.
Competency using SharePoint Online, Microsoft Azure & Power Platform (Power Apps/BI/Automate)
Travel to offices throughout the UK (overnight stays may be required) to facilitate workshops/meetings.
Adaptive to changing priorities and delivery to deadlines.
Must approach all aspects of development and administration with IT Security at the forefront
