Our client, an established social housing provider, is seeking an experienced IT Digital Lead to spearhead their digital transformation journey and position their organisation at the forefront of 21st-century technology.

The Opportunity

Lead strategic digital initiatives within a values-driven organisation where your expertise will directly impact community services. You'll oversee IT functions, drive innovation, and ensure robust security measures while working collaboratively with external providers and internal teams.

Key areas of focus:

• Strategic IT leadership and digital transformation
• Cybersecurity and GDPR compliance management
• AI implementation and future technology planning
• Staff training and development on emerging technologies
• Budget management and vendor relationship oversight

What You'll Be Doing

Strategic Leadership:

• Develop and implement comprehensive ICT strategies
• Lead digital transformation initiatives across the organisation
• Analyse future AI possibilities to drive operational efficiencies
• Identify and mitigate emerging technology challenges

Security & Compliance:

• Ensure robust GDPR practices and data protection protocols
• Manage cybersecurity frameworks and vulnerability assessments
• Develop and test business continuity and disaster recovery plans
• Maintain IT policies and procedures for new technologies

Operational Excellence:

• Coordinate with third-party IT providers for seamless service delivery
• Manage IT project implementation within approved budgets
• Oversee system devices, peripherals, and mobile technology
• Source and implement new software and hardware solutions

Team Development:

• Deliver training on IT and AI-related themes
• Mentor staff on digital best practices
• Build strong relationships across all organisational levels

What We're Looking For

Essential Experience:

• Experience In a similar IT leadership role
• Experience with system implementation and modern networking solutions
• Background in IT security, disaster recovery, and business continuity planning

Technical Skills:

• Proficiency in Microsoft 365 infrastructure and environments
• In-depth knowledge of ICT policies and systems
• Strong understanding of digital tools and commercial applications
• Excellent written and verbal communication abilities
