Our client based in Hampshire is looking to onboard a new IT Director.

As the IT Director, you will lead the IT infrastructure and internal support services, ensuring reliable, scalable, secure 24×7 support. Key responsibilities include:

- Overseeing IT infrastructure design and improvement.
- Enforcing IT policies and procedures.
- Leading a 24×7 support model.
- Driving automation and self-service.
- Aligning IT strategies with business goals.
- Managing hybrid cloud environments (Azure, AWS, Google Cloud).
- Leading the IT team.
- Managing external vendors.
- Ensuring regulatory compliance. ISO 27001, GDPR
- Leading incident response and disaster recovery planning/testing.

Requirements:
- Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in IT, Computer Science, or related experience.
- Experience: 10+ years in IT operations, 5+ years in leadership.
- Technical: Enterprise IT systems, cloud platforms, service desk in 24×7 environment.
- Knowledge: ITSM frameworks, modern collaboration tools.
- Industry: Experience in high-growth, regulated, or infrastructure-heavy industries.

Desirable Characteristics:
- Great leadership, communication, stakeholder management.
- Balance strategic planning with hands-on oversight.
- Experience with DevOps culture and IT-operations integration.

Benefits:
- Salary: £75,000 – £85,000 depending on experience.
