IT Engineer

Caerphilly | On-site (5 days, 1 WFH day after probation) | £30-40,000 + £3,600 bonus

We're looking for a skilled IT Engineer to join a busy technical team, providing 2nd-3rd line support while also getting involved in project delivery. This is a role with plenty of variety, where you'll handle escalations, work across infrastructure and cloud, and develop your skills further with training and certifications supported.

• Troubleshoot and resolve 2nd-3rd line issues across infrastructure, cloud, and networking.

• Support and deliver IT projects (migrations, deployments, implementations).

• Manage Microsoft 365, Azure, Windows Server, VMware/Hyper-V.

• Work with storage/backup solutions (SAN, NAS, Veeam).

• Support security technologies (firewalls, VPN, wireless).

• Proven 2nd/3rd line support experience.

• Strong knowledge of Microsoft 365, Azure, and Windows Server.

• Virtualisation experience (VMware, Hyper-V).

• Networking & security skills (VLANs, VPNs, firewalls).

• Backup/storage knowledge.

• Certifications (Microsoft, VMware, CompTIA, ITIL) are a bonus - or willingness to work towards them.
