IT Field Engineer – Nottingham / East Midlands
£34,000 - £37,000 + Company Car and great benefits

I am currently working with an industry leader who are growing their IT department and looking for an experienced IT Engineer. The core requirement for this role is to ensure the smooth running of networks and infrastructure for head office and newly established sites. You will be expected to have a good understanding of the software and equipment that employees are using as well as the ability to prioritise issues within the region

As an IT Field Engineer, you will be skilled at installing firewalls and troubleshooting networking issues as well as have exposure to terminating RJ56 / Cat6 cabling. As a business, they turn over more then £100m a year and have shown consecutive growth year on year for over a decade.

Due to the nature of this role, you will be travelling around the East Midlands to different sites but likely spend several days per week working from their head office in Nottingham.

Experience:

• Experience with Cabling / Ethernet / RJ45/Cat6 is highly desirable
• Microsoft 365
• Google Workspace
• Active Directory
• Firewalls and network troubleshooting
• Laptop and mobile hardware.
• Incident, Change and Problem Management processes.
• Excellent communication and problem solving skills
• Relevant technical certifications are desirable e.g. ITIL v4.

Effectively, this role is responsible for working with the wider IT team to contribute to the smooth day-to-day running of IT Services for a business with several hundred employees.
