IT Manager

Xenial Consulting are pleased to be supporting a long standing client in their search for an IT Manager. Based in East London, this is an office based role with occasional travel required to other sites across the UK. The main purpose of the role will be to provide day-to-day technical support to internal teams whilst maintaining existing IT systems, supporting end users and co-ordinating with external IT providers.

Typical responsibilities will include:

• Providing first-line technical support to staff for hardware, software, and network issues.
• Setting up and configuring new user accounts, laptops, printers, and other IT equipment.
• Installing, maintaining, and troubleshooting desktop and mobile devices, ensuring minimal downtime for users.
• Monitoring system performance and escalate complex issues to external IT support providers as required.
• Managing user permissions and access across core platforms (e.g. Office 365, SharePoint, Syrinx).
• Supporting routine backups and basic data recovery processes.
• Liaising with software vendors and IT partners for maintenance, support, and licensing needs.
• Performing basic troubleshooting for email, internet, and connectivity issues.
• Maintaining up-to-date IT documentation, asset logs, and user guides.
• Supporting with onboarding and offboarding staff from an IT perspective.
• Covering IT projects as designated by senior management.

You will ideallly have experience manging an IT function within a multi-site environmant , familiarity with cloud-based systems, along with exposure to businss systems such as Power BI, Syrinx or Dimensions. CompTIAA+, Microsoft certifications or similar would be a plus. The role offers a base salary of £40,000 plus £8500 OTE
